Child’s Play Summer Programming 2008

Join Child’s Play for one of our three “2-week” summer programs!  Groups meet daily for 3 hours of innovative, fun, and skill building activities. 
This program is appropriate for children who can be re-directed in a setting of 3:1 (child to staff). 

Elements of our Program:

1. Directed and Supervised by Occupational Therapist supported by our trained staff. 
2. Board certified behavior analysts to consult as needed
3. Maximum of 18 children minimum of 10 per session
4. 4.5-11 years of age:  Children further divided into age appropriate groups 
5. Activity sheets distributed communicating/detailing the events of each day!
6. At the end of the second week we will offer 2 separate days for parents to sign up to observe. (this is optional)
7. 1:00pm – 4:00pm Monday through Friday for 2 weeks (see session dates below)

Daily Activities Include but are not limited to;

1. Practicing in/outdoor games
2. Creative musical activities and dances
3. Fine motor activities that incorporate a sensory component and will include art/craft projects
4. Gross motor activities will include “team picking” games and obstacle courses

Enrollment:
Non-refundable deposit of $25.00 is required.  All deposits will be applied towards the total cost of 2-week session.  All deposits will be refunded in the event that we do not meet minimum enrollment for a session.  Total cost per 2-week session: $825.00.  To enroll, please call and request a summer programming packet and one will be mailed to you!  It is our sincerest hope that we are able to hold all three of our summer sessions.  Logically, we must secure the staff and prepare for utilization of our center.  For this reason please note deadlines for enrollment:
Session I: Enrollment Deadline: May 30th
Session dates: July 14th – July 25th          Time: 1pm-4pm
Session II: Enrollment Deadline: June 30th
Session dates: July 28th – August 8th       Time: 1pm-4pm
Session III: Enrollment Deadline: June 30th 2008
August 11th – August 22nd                      Time: 1pm-4pm
